About 20 of the 250 M ichigan gam e tickets availab le to s tu dents w ere reserv ed for use by m em bers of the S tudent Union B oard before a lo ttery w as held to d istribu te the tickets, B oard d irec to r Jan e l B lount said W ed nesday night. At least six tickets w ent to friends and room m ates of B oard m em bers, said SUB S er vices C om m issioner J im H ering, who ran the lo ttery , and Blount. Board com m issioners w ere allowed to request tickets, as w ere m em b ers of th e ir com m ittees who had perform ed “ exceptional” work, B lount said. Blount described the p re fe r ential tickets as “ p e rk s” for studen ts who work for the SUB.
